January events to take NOTE of:

It will all be fine in 2009 (thanks Leslie for this great line!) That is definitely the case for our youth group. Our schedule has already gotten off to a great start with our 2nd annual lock-in and our spaghetti dinner which made well over $200 and will go towards your mission trip funds. The rest of January looks like this:

We will pick back up on our love discussion on the 11th as we investigate the divine spark which lives within all of us and you will have the opportunity to paint what this looks like to you. Dinner will be provided.

On the 18th, there is much going on here. Right away on the morning of the 18th the senior high will be going to the Cracker Barrel to celebrate the January birthdays. Our middle high and Kids for Christ will be going Ice-Skating from 1-4pm roughly. Double check the PresbyNotes and call Adam for exact times. You will need to eat lunch before hand. Then in the evening our Senior High will be heading to the bowling alley to knock down some pins. Bring money for ice-skating, bowling and sr. high for food with our bowling.

The 25th of January we will again be in discussion about LOVE and we will be watching a NOOMA video entitled Flame. Dinner will be provided. PARENTS MEETING @ 6:45 PM IN THE YOUTH ROOM!

SING will meet every Sunday at 4:15 pm in the month of January unless you hear otherwise from Patty.

Bible Studies will continue on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00pm. This is open to all so please, come and lets draw closer together!

Future Dates to take Note of
On February 1st the middle high and senior high will be participating in the Souper Bowl of caring. We will have representatives from both middle and sr. high standing at the entrances of sanctuary with soup pots asking for donations, which will go to a charity. On the same night the Sr. High will have a Super Bowl Party at the Lashbrook’s home. The time is to be announced.
